We ran this trail as a way to connect Hidden Valley Road to Rampart Range Road. We had a great time on Hidden Valley Road, and when we first got to Dakan Road we actually went the wrong way for a bit. We finally figured it out, turned around, and headed off in the right direction.

Dakan Road is definitely a lot more mellow than the other trails we'd be doing during the day. There are a couple bumpy sections, but no one had any issues.

It wasn't long at all before we were at Rampart Range Road and headed off to do Winding Stairs Road. We were making good time!
