Beth G.
Black 1990 Jeep Wrangler
Monica I.
Red 2010 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Everything started out well, with the two Jeeps going up and down a sandy hill that two other big trucks couldn't drive up (due to bald tires and men at the wheel). Karen had her virgin run as an Offroad Girl and loved every minute of it.

Then things took a turn for the worse when Beth crossed Caribou Creek first. She made it across the creek without any problems, but then ran bumper-first into the side of the embankment. She caught one of her front leaf springs on a rock and bent back all but the last leaf. We made it back to town safely, with Beth's Jeep left at the shop.

We were in the area and had a little extra time (and energy) so a few of us from the Coney Flats and Middle St. Vrain run went over to check out Caribou Creek. They’ve changed it a little since November! I’m sure it’s to stop erosion but there is…
