Gamble Gulch
It seemed odd that we'd spent so much of the last decade in the area around Rollinsville but we'd never seen Gamble Gulch. We came off of the Moffat Tunnel Road and said goodbye to Julie before heading down the road a mile to see how the trail was.
It ended up being a nice, easy drive through the trees. The northern part is maintained, but even after the maintained part ends it's still a nice road. This would be a great trip for an SUV or someone wanting a diversion from highway 119.
There was a big party out in the woods, too, so we saw a lot of cars on the way out. We were happy to know we'd be out of the area before it really got rolling.
When we got to the end, the light was fading but we still wanted to check out Pickle Gulch. We turned around and headed back in, off to find some more fun.
